Personal Profile Creation Competition Terms and Conditions

There are five (5) total prizes available. Three (3) prizes available for North Island teachers, and two (2) prizes available for South Island teachers.

Each prize includes:

  • One full registration to the CORE uLearn19 conference, 9-11 October 2019 at the Energy Events Centre, Rotorua, New Zealand
  • Return airfares from your home town/city to Rotorua (if you need to fly)
  • 2 x nights’ accommodation
  • Being hosted by Sorted in Schools at the gala dinner.

The prize does not include additional travel to and from airports to residences, the conference centre and/or hotels, and does not include meals additional to those provided by the conference.

To be eligible to enter, you must be either:

  • A full-time New Zealand secondary school or kura teacher/kaiako (teaching year 9-10) OR
  • A member of the senior leadership team at a New Zealand secondary school or kura (principals/tumuaki, deputy and assistant principals, heads of departments)

Only one entry per person is permitted.

The competition closes Friday 30 August 2019. Winners will be announced via phone and email, on Monday 9 September 2019. Winners have 48-hours to confirm they can accept the prize. After 48-hours, the prize will be re-drawn. If a winner has already registered and paid for a ticket to attend the CORE uLearn19 conference, they are able to get a full refund from uLearn with no penalties.

CFFC will randomly draw winners from all entries.

The prize is non-transferrable between teachers. If a member of a secondary school or kura leadership team (outlined above) is a winner, they can gift the prize to a full-time employed teacher/kaiako (teaching year 9-10) at the same school.

Decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
