Nau mai haere mai

This pathway focuses on how to plan a series of financial capability progressions based on a single Sorted theme eg. debt, saving, etc. There are teacher planning templates as well as examples to help you plan a cross-curricular approach to financial capability education.

This single-theme approach can be used in a range of contexts, for example:

  • as part of a cross-curricular learning programme
  • as a learning focus for form groups or whānau classes and option classes, where the teacher has expertise in one or more of the chosen learning areas
  • as part of a schoolwide Money Week programme.
