Nau mai haere mai

This pathway focuses on how to plan a series of financial capability progressions based on multiple Sorted themes that cover a Sorted in School’s concept, eg. Financial Identity. There are teacher planning templates as well as examples to help you plan a single or multi learning area approach to financial capability education.

This approach can be used in a range of contexts, for example:

  • as part of a cross-curricular learning programme
  • as a learning focus for form groups or whānau classes and option classes where the teacher has expertise in one or more of the chosen learning areas
  • as part of a schoolwide Money Week programme.
