The resources in this area can be used independently or in groups to build financial capability knowledge and skills.
Investing in shares
This resource will help students to understand the basics about shares. Students will learn how the share market works and investigate through a simulation which companies to invest. Students will need to have an understanding of statistical literacy and knowledge that aligns with Level 5 of the New Zealand curriculum to collect and understand share market information.
The resource have two parts.
- Part 1: Investing in shares lesson activity
- Part 2: Group project for investing in shares simulation.
