Primary/Intermediate School Teachers

Our resources support teaching and learning for years 9-10, but we do have activities and learning experiences suitable for primary and intermediate students.

All our resources are aligned to New Zealand Curriculum levels 4-5 and support the learning areas of English, maths, social sciences, technology and health.  They have been tested with year 8 children, so if your students are at that level, they can easily participate.

Get started in 5 easy steps

Create practical lessons and learning experiences by following these easy steps.

  1. Check the MOE financial capability progressions for levels 1-3 to see what learning outcomes are suitable for your students.
  2. Watch the video ‘Teachers new to financial capability education’
  3. Use the teacher planners to decide on a subject or thematic approach.
  4. Create a personal profile, which gives you access to a personalised dashboard. It allows you to save and share resources and assists in lesson planning.
  5. Browse the Resources section, or select from the suggested resources below to build a teaching plan.
